I need ideas for invitations to a farewell party. My brother is being sent to IRAQ and we are going to have a party for family and friends. We don't want to call it a farewell party, because we hope to be seeing him in 6 months when he returns. Any ideas?

While I am sure your party has past, for future reference perhaps you can call it a "send-off" party. That was there is no good-bye or farewell associated with it. Just good wishes for a safe tour of duty and a safe return home.
