I am having a summer champagne reception at my Jewelry/Boutique Store. I am having some new designs flown in from L.A. as well as local designers featured. The event is being catered with exotic Meditteranean food. I want some sort of entertainment w/o it being too much. I was originally thinking having a bellydancer to make the event young, funky, and hip. But I'm getting mixed reactions. Any suggestions to make my event stand out and attract an eclectic crowd?

Since your focus is on your jewelry/designs, perhaps some jazz or latin music in the background to get it to the next level, yet not over do it. Something uplifting to keep everyone energized and excited about your jewelry. There may even be a group from a local college interested to help stay within your budget. Good luck!
