We are in a unique situation regarding the reception. We are having a family reception at our home directly after the wedding, but are having a huge bash for our friends a week later. How do I politely write the invitations and let my friends know that we aren't excluding them (at least not on purpose). Also, does anyone have a really awesome poem or quote to put on the party invitation? ALso, is there a polite and tactful way to request money, not gifts?
